Meet Attorney Brian L. Coffman
Welcome to the website for my local law firm.
My name is Brian L. Coffman, and I am an experienced attorney and solo practitioner serving clients across Akron, Ohio. The majority of my practice is devoted to the art of criminal defense and I am dedicated to providing quality representation at a fair rate.
As a lifelong resident of Portage County, I appear in all courts throughout Portage and Summit Counties, as well as most courts in northeast Ohio.
My Education and Background
After graduating summa cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration, I graduated from the University Of Akron School Of Law.
I was admitted to practice by the Ohio Supreme Court in 1998 and to the federal bar in 2004. I am a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Bar Associations of Akron and Portage County, as well as the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Since 2008, I have served on the Board of Directors of the Portage Animal Protective League and I participate in various annual charity events.
